Have you wanted to see without glasses or contact lenses?
Have you considered surgery to get rid of glasses or contacts?
Did you know that there is an FDA approved non-invasive method that may stop your child for becoming nearsighted?
Corneal Reshaping Therapy (also called CRT or corneal refractive therapy) is a safe and FDA approved method. During CRT, patients sleep in a contact lens at night, remove it in the morning and are able to see clearly all day without glasses or contact lenses.
When CRT is conducted with children, it has been shown to stop or slow the progression of nearsightedness. in addition, child or adult athletes are able to practice and play their sport without glasses fogging up or contact lenses moving. All of this is accomplished without surgery.
Visual disorders that are associated with CRT include:
- myopia (nearsightedness)
- progessive myopia
- dry eye: limits the ability to wear contact lenses during the day.
